Rachel holds a degree in sports therapy. Graduating from Edge Hill University in Liverpool set her in good stead to become a highly experienced therapist. The degree focused on manual therapy, functional rehabilitation, strength, conditioning, anatomy and physiology.
The qualification means that Rachel is now a level 4 sports therapist and can easily treat and many injuries and complaints. Other than sports massage therapy Rachel is also qualified and experienced in musculoskeletal taping and strapping, advanced soft tissue techniques and First aid.
Rachel has worked with the likes of Cardiff Blues Rugby Club, University of South Wales sports teams (including football, hockey and lacrosse), and St Helens Rugby Club
Having achieved a Grade VIII in Ballet at the Royal Academy of dance Rachel knows all too well about injuries, pains and complaints. Helping those who are going through the same frustrations and challenges is something that Rachel now thrives on.
Rachel has taken part in several obstacle course and charity runs she also enjoys regular yoga and road cycling. Previous to these current sports Rachel was part of the Bridgend County swim team and swam at a high level competitively. Her swimming interests saw her as a lifeguard at Southerndown and Porthcawl beaches.
